Vesicare is usually prescribed for people with overactive bladdder not IC.. It may be worth going back to your Urologist for assessment on other treatments.. As for the bloating this sounds bowel related and they may need to refer you to a dietician or Consultant...

You dont mention how they are treating the IC... certainly the pain may be related.. Drink plenty of fluids and pass urine regularily.. If you are not been treated then you need to be re referred to your local Urologist.. You may need your kidney function tests repeated ( via blood test)

It would be worth getting a urine sample to the GP to check for a urine infection if you have had them before..Make sure you are not drinking too much as this can often cause pain and nausea...

If you are in constant pain then dont be afraid to take painkillers. If you havent seen a urologist for 2 years it would be worth been re refferred in case the stones have returned...If they see blood in the urine then they may want to perform a cystoscopy...this is when they look inside the bladder...

If you dont drink enough this can sometimes make you pass urine MORE often.. Look at what you drink.. Your urine should be as pale as possible, if dark this may be the problem. I would suggest you try pelvic floor exercises in the first instance. If these do not work then visit your GP. You may need to be referred to a specialist Physiotherapist who will be able to assess your pelvic floor and suggest ways to improve them. The GP should rule out a urine infection. It is im...
