Re: FIFTEEN M.E./CFS Subgroups/Types ?

It is interesting that Dr Jonathan Kerr identified subgroups in myalgic encephalomyelitis some years ago. The MRC apparently refused him further funding for his research, preferring instead to fund psychiatrists' research into behaviour management of fatigue.

Re: Children on the autistic spectrum

Thank you Chris, but my question was about us causing autism in our children by unwittingly passing the persistent pathogens that cause M.E. to them in via the placenta.

Re: Contaminated Polio Vaccines.

Thank you. it is interesting to note that in the US people with M.E. are being successfully treated with antivirals whilst in the UK we are being offered largely ineffectual behavioural management techniques.

Re: fibro and me together

Some effective medical treatment would be nice, instead of constantly being told to change our attitudes and lifestyles. How exactly did these become the primary medical treatments for a neurological illness and a soft tissue disorder? If they actually worked we'd all be long since cured! I would re...

Children on the autistic spectrum

There appears to be a larger than average number of women with myalgic encephalomyelitis who report having children on the autistic spectrum. Is this being investigated please? Could an as yet unidentified persistent pathogen that causes M.E. be transmitted via the placenta, and be causing the child...

Re: Contaminated Polio Vaccines.

Thank you. I'd like to know much more about this as I can trace some of my symptoms to just after a polio vaccine in the 1950s.

Re: PACE Trial analysis

The deliberate exclusion of the severely affected, a quarter of all sufferers, from the PACE trial must have greatly influenced the outcome.
