Re: Just a warning.

Hi Anna Thanks for your reply. No I haven't had patch testing and usually rely on my common sense which I clearly didn't do this time! The ingredients in Salcura Gentle are vitamins and plant extracts so I foolishly though it would be a gentle product. I'll stick with the Eumovate and Epaderm in fut...

Just a warning.

In my welcome pack when I joined this forum came spray of Salcura Gentle. It says it's suitable for eczema, hives and most troublesome skin problems so because I have a flare up of allergic skin on my lower legs I used this in desperation instead of sticking to my tried and tested Epaderm. What a mi...

Re: extreme eczema, exams soon

Oh you poor girl what a state you are in. You must go back to your GP ASAP and get yourself looked at you shouldn't be suffering like this at your age!

Good luck and let us know how you get on x

Re: MRSA ?

Anna I wish I could help you with this, maybe a call to the practice nurse at your surgery may be a good idea.

Re: Bathing distress

Lindsfin do you have to bathe her in the bath could you not just wipe her down with a soft cloth for the moment? When I have a flare up a bath or shower makes me a lot worse no matter how cool I have the water so now I sponge myself down before applying the creams.

Good Luck.

Re: Cannot stop the itching!

Jamie my only advice is to get as much moisture into your skin as possible to reduce the itch. Use Epaderm, Aveeno or even olive oil to take the dryness away.

Good luck.

Re: Hair Dye

Mandy I have highlights put in at the hairdressers and as she pulls my hair through a cap none of the dye touches my scalp at all------------------that may be an option for you as they can do all colours that way.

Re: Help!!!

Sammie I can get 3/200gr tubes of Aveeno for £8.00 on eBay opposed to nearly £5 for 200gr in the shops so it works out OK as it lasts for ages, the nappy cream I use before bed so that too goes a long way.

Let us know how the soap flakes agree with you

Good luck
