my husband is self catheterizing after 1 month of indwelling cath. as he has not got back his own abilty to "pee". He had retention after a new knee and his bladder was stretched. he has had 2 or 3 small "pees" by himself but he is worried he will never get back his usual abilty ...

could not pee for myself so now have to self catheterize 4 to 6 times a day. Will I ever get back the usual "urge" and "go" for myself. Do have slightly enlarged prostate but my bladder is "stretched". From: cardmore-Tues.5/11/13
