You would probably benefit from trans anal irrigation to help manage the constipation. Your GP can refer you to your local Continence Service who will be able to teach you how to do it at home.

Hi Kathleen, Constipation can be effectively relieved and managed by trans anal irrigation. It may be worth you speaking to your GP or local continence service about this treatment that you can be taught to do at home.
