Re: stomach is distended and hard and painful

Thank you very much for your suggestions. Much more useful than 'try a spoon' as one GP suggested.
I will give them a go when I need to, I do really appreciate your help.
Regards,
Heidi

Re: Coping with wet beds due to night sweats

Hi Lacemaker,
That is a lot cheaper than the cold gel pads they sell for humans. I have one I use for my face and I agree with you about the feet! Mine are always freezing.

Coping with wet beds due to night sweats

Hi There, I have suffered with night sweats and therefore a wet bed for years. I hate it because it makes me feel awful and I cannot do anything about it as I have Sjogren's Syndrome as well as menopause. I have tried everything I think; diet, pills, hormones, clothes, no clothes but nothing has wor...

Re: Baricitanib

Hi There, I have been taking Tramadol combined with paracetamol for pain for years. I gave up meat and this helped a great deal but now I do have to use bisacodyl (laxative) or my digestion just stops. Everyone is different though and just because it worked for me does not mean it will work for you ...

New Moles and raised moles

Hi There,
I am very fair and very moley.
I seem to get new moles every day so I stay covered up and out of sunshine.
My moles become raised and itchy every so often and have a light ring round them. Could you tell me why this happens?
Many thanks,
Heidi

Sjogren's and Hair Loss

I have Sjogren's Syndrome and a few other auto immune diseases. Every few years my hair starts to change from the soft blonde to a darker, wiry, feeling hair and then thins to very sad looking hair from the front. I this a known symptom? Is there anything I can do that does work? I have tried all th...

Reusable pads

Hi All, I am 47 and have been urine incontinent for a few years now. I was assessed by the incontinence nurse and given the enormous plastic pads by Tena - told these are the smallest they do - and get on with it. From there I had recurrent sore, itchy and red skin. Weeping open broken skin and many...

Re: Bloated stomach

Thankyou for your answer. I have tried all the things you mentioned including aloe vera tablets but my stomach is still huge. I guess I will have to learn to live with it and just shop in the 'mama' section.

Bloated stomach

Hi There, I was diagnosed with IBS many, many years ago. The food that affects me - sorted. What I have to take to help me go and stop me if I need it - sorted. The enormous stomach I have that blows up so people offer me seats, not sorted. I don't have wind but I do have sounds. My stomach is hard ...
