yea thanks for that Anna...the more i research on wiki etc the more i think that GP's just fob us off with steroid creams. Betamethasone valerate which im on is a very potent steroid compared to Hydrocortisone which is a very mild weak steroid. Will be popping to boots this week to buy a Hydrocortis...

hmmm... if i remember eumovate is 0.05% steroid? the betnovate im on is 0.025%. I used to be on a 0.500% cream many years ago but have slowly come down the percentages only to have come to a stop. I checked with the docs last time and 0.025 is the lowest steroid cream you can get so need to find a n...

Drmule, i have the same problem but not as bad as u. I am 27 and have had eczema for 15 years. It only flares up on my body if i scratch and over the past 2 years i havent had a bad flare up that required the cream except my cheeks and forehead which i have used a steroid cream on for many many year...
