Hi Ajearley, I feel your pain! I was prescribed Melatonin to help consolidate my sleep - but like you, once I am asleep I am out for the count. Like you, to limit the risk of sleeping through my alarms (I do that anyway :( ), I'd have to take it in the early afternoon and it just isn't feasible. Rat...

I know that you posted over a month ago now but I really hope that you managed to read the links above.
Trying to access the right advice and care can be frustrating sometimes - but do persist with your GP as they'll be able to best advise you and hopefully make a referral.

Hi sashacrl, Welcome to TalkHealth. I really feel for you and understand how annoying, tiring and uncomfortable period pain can be. When I was in my late teens and early 20s the pain was unbearable - and like you, I'd have to settle for taking ibuprofen and paracetamol together (with little relief)....
