Re: Unconventional Cures
I found that my eczema cleared up within about ten days, once I started going around nude. A few years ago I exchanged messages with somebody in the U.S., whose 12 year old son suffered extremely severe eczema and it was the seventh dermatologist, they consulted, who suggested that their son went ar...

Re: Unconventional Cures
Actually my “cure” does involve going around nude and, as a result, I have remained almost free of eczema for ten years. Below is an edited version of a post, I made some time ago: I am retired ,so unless I need to go out, I will normally go around the house and garden completely in the nude, weathe...

Re: Bare necessities!
The causes of eczema are varied and no doubt some people are susceptible to more than one. It would seem to be only recently that atmospheric yeast has been recognised as major cause, whilst it has long been accepted in psoriasis and even recommended that patient go nude coupled. Re: Light Therapy Treatment
I find it rather perverse that you are supposed to keep your genitals covered, when it is fairly common to get eczema on that part of your body I think that the only benefits of phototherapy compared to gentle sunbathing is the fact that exposure is controlled and it is not subject to the vagaries o...

Bare necessities!
I described in July 2006 in Talk Eczema under Clothing how I had found a natural way to keep my eczema at bay. http://www.talkeczema.com/webdocs/yourlives/clothing.php Fortunately, I have still managed to be virtually eczema free in the five years since then, by not wearing clothes whenever possible...

Re: Dry,Peeling facial skin
Have you considered growing a beard? Shaving might exacerbate the situation by irritating the skin and possibly give rise to a secondary infection. Also a beard would help to disguise the redness etc. Just use a gentle product to wash your face and beard and with luck the minimum of intervention mig...

Re: Holiday cleared up eczema but is now coming back
Eczema can be caused by yeast infection and yeast thrives in dark, damp conditions. Probably on holiday you went around with less clothing than at home, with the further benefit of sun exposure, which prevented the yeast taking hold. In 2006, I wrote in “My Stories” under Clothing-Staying nude, how ...
