A big rant!!

Hi, Ive had eczema since 2, I am now 30. And I really do feel your pain, but some of the other posts on here are right. What we need to remember as sufferers is that eczema and psoriasis are quite common. Most people know at least one person who has the condition. Throughout my teenage years I remem...

Re: PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HEEELLP!!!!

Hey, Very good points made by anna, I would stay out of the sun, obviously you cannot completely stay out of it. But being in the sun for prolonged periods is not good for us eczema sufferers, especially in this country (UK). Also, cutting grass is a no no, i tend to be okay if I take a Piriton or o...

Re: The Itch Scratch Cycle

Well, what can i say? I dont think there is anyone out there who really enjoys their eczema. if you have only had it mild/moderately then I can understand why you would be in a happy place. Me personally, Ive had severe eczema most of my life, and when its under control (itching aside), im the happi...

Re: Elocon ointment

Hi, I personally wouldnt advise using Elocon on a baby at all, being an eczema sufferer for nearly 30 years Ive used quite a few steriod creams. And Elocon is very strong, when I was prescribed it it was as through my doctor was reluctant due to its strength? I used it and it didnt have much of an e...
