Re: EPD treatment on Eczema/Dust Allergy

Hi Kennyo Glad the jabs helped. I get a crusty scalp at times (psoriasis) and all i know is that stress massively makes it worse... I know this is not really a helpful tip but minimising stress does help me. So whether that's getting some reflexology, a massage i find it can bring stress levels down...

Re: Eczema around mouth Flouride (toothpaste) related???

Interesting! I had been wondering if it was an irritant. Although my baby has food allergies linked to the eczema she also has red patches on sides of mouth and it could be toothpaste. I might try kingfisher or maybe no toothpaste at all just brushing. She only has 6 teeth so i imagine just brushing...

Re: Probiotics?

hi

Sorry your son is having a bad flare up but glad he is recovering. I've been using the probiotic since about 6 months old but i have a friend who has used it from about 5 weeks old. My understanding is it's safe.

It's a powder that you can mix with drink or food. I feel like it is helping, alongside food elimination and emol...

Re: night scratching!!!!

Hi gingerbenn I'm sorry to read Tyla is suffering with night scratching. It is so hard to watch them being so itchy. Have you tried Dermasilk Pyjamas? We have found these really helpful. They keep the body cool and in turn this seems to help reduce the itch. I think they're great and i know many oth...

Re: Milk Whey in Ecover

Hi girls Initially it was my gut feeling that the baby was allergic to dairy and other foods. As i would breast feed her i could see her skin flaring. So i took it upon myself to eliminate dairy from my diet. The dermatologist said it wouldn't make any difference and that the amount passing through ...

Re: 100 percent cotton nighties

thanks girls. yes i'm in the uk. i have just moved and joined a new gp practice....so i'll see if they'll prescribe them. i will also ask the specialist who we see on wednesday to put in his letter that he recommends they be prescribed.
