Rosacea and anxiety

I have both rosacea and an anxiety disorder (social). I find that my rosacea gets worse when I'm experiencing anxiety, but when I know my rosacea is bad, it makes my anxiety worse, and so on. These two chronic problems just seem to feed off each other and make each other worse. Does anyone else have...

Green or Yellow concealer to cover rosacea?

I've been using green concealers to cover rosacea for a few years now. For a long time, I'd always read/been advised that green is the way to go for covering redness. Many of the green concealer/colour correcting products advertise themselves as being designed to counteract redness. However, a numbe...

It's rosacea, not flirting!

I've recently become aware of a problem that has likely existed for a while but I never noticed it before. Sometimes, when my rosacea is flushing my face, people mistake a kind conversation for flirting! Even if I'm just being nice, when my cheeks are pink people seem to be interpreting things...

Rosacea and Seasonal Allergies

I find that my rosacea becomes very reactive in the spring when pollen fills the air. Is there any way to help overcome this without having to take antihistamines every day? I've heard that they're not good for your kidneys/liver when taken daily.

I'll take your advice and make an appointment to see my doctor.

Thanks

I hope your appointment goes/went well and you have some ideas for keeping the symptoms under control!

Re: Rosecea Lifestyle

Hi B.T., Aside from asking your doctor/dermatologist for answers from a health professional here are my best non-expert answers to your questions based on my own experience: TRIGGERS: Spicey Food/Alcohol/Exercise........do these things make the condition worse over time if u don't avoid them, like s...

Rosacea and Digestion - Linked in Recent Study

I came across another report on a study that pointed to gastro disorders connected with rosacea. The most recent report I spotted was from Dermatology Times and can be found here: http://dermatologytimes.modernmedicine.com/dermatology-times/news/rosacea-and-gasto-disorders-possibly-related I have st...

Re: In my 50s and think I have rosacea

Rosacea can pop up at any time in life. Usually it's in early adulthood, but I've recently spoken to a few people who have developed rosy cheeks during peri-menopause. That said, it's impossible to diagnose rosacea based on pictures. Rosacea can present in exactly the same way as certain other condi...

Re: Rosacea

I would also been keen to know what people use that's good - rosacea is new to me so I've no idea what to use or whether I should stop using my current products! Your doctor/dermatologist might be able to give you some guidance in terms of skin care, especially if you're using any prescriptions. Th...

Re: Rosacea

That's fantastic! I hope you're continuing to see the good results. I didn't have the same luck with antibiotics. It seems to work for some of us and not for others. I'm jealous of your success ;)
