Lack of sleep

I am going through a period of not sleeping well and when I count up the hours I sleep per night (and mostly interrupted) it is only between 5 and half to six hours maximum. Everything I have read has said you should have 7 to 8 hours. At the moment I feel fine although slightly stressed that my nor...

Is it still stress?

I had been going through a period of stress last year and found it very difficult to sleep – both getting to sleep and sleep quality – tossing and turning and staying asleep. That stress has basically passed now but I still seem to have some residue issues left – I can go to sleep now easily but sti...

Bloating

I started getting bloating about 10 years ago when I hit my mid 30’s and was told by the doctor it was IBS. They advised that I go away and spending time thinking about my diet. I was very careful in what I ate and then slowly the bloating stopped and all was fine which was great! However, in recent...

Interstitial cystitis

I have interstitial cystitis (possibly as a result of Fibromyalgia). I have to omit many fruits, caffeine, coffee and probiotics from my diet as they all inflame it. Is there anything natural I can take to help with the symptoms or for the health of my bladder? I'm not keen on taking prescribed medi...

Stomas - fluid leaking

I have two stomas. A Urostomy and A high output one, officially a colostomy but I have 1.2 m of small bowel only. I have a clear liquid which constantly leaks from my vagina so I have to wear pads as well as having two bags. Any idea what this fluid is and where it comes from? (Bobbie)

Eczema vs Psoriasis

How do I know the difference between psoriasis and eczema as they both seem to look at the same when I look at images on a website?! (Lara)

The itching of my eczema is driving me nuts – normally it has started to clear up at this time of year but not this year – any recommendations to soothe? (Paul)
