Skin sensitivity and autism

I would like to know if there is a link between skin sensitivity (eczema, reactive skin, rosacea) and autism.

I was only diagnosed ASC aged 57 but have had sensory and physical sensitivities my whole life. Including my digestion and the above skin issues.

Constipation

I have recently started a new eating regime in an attempt to reverse my insulin resistance. The diet has been going quite well, even some weight loss but the constipation is an issue. I drink plenty, I eat raw veg and salads. It's now getting to the point of looking for things to bring on my IBS jus...

Is IBS a condition or weakness that remains with a person throughout life?

s IBS a condition or weakness that remains with a person throughout life? I was diagnosed with IBS 30 years ago and forgot about it when life got calmer. Occasionally I'd have an upset stomach (generally diarrhoea), take a couple of tablets and it would pass. A couple of years ago I noticed that IBS...

Impact of Parkinsons on bowels

My mum has on off Parkinsons, 9 years diagnosed. It interferes with everything but mostly her bowels. She has problems with muscles not working so pushing out faeces is difficult. Looking for further help

I’m a long time sufferer of IBS worsening as I get older...and this wasn’t taken into consideration by GPs.
Therefore I’m initiating a personal investigation, ending up with a referral to the Old Homeopathic Hospital. But discharged very soon.
I wondering where else I can find help?

Keeping cholesterol down

I have high cholesterol levels but eat a relatively healthy diet - I have tried to cut down on the obvious foods to help reduce it (although I don't eat much of them anyway) - i.e. red meat, cakes, biscuits but are there foods that I should try and increase in my diet? Many thanks, Penny

Reflux

I suffer from reflux and can't work out what causes it… are there things that particularly set this off do you think and what foods do you think are good to help with this issue?

Look forward to hearing your thoughts, thanks Beth
