Hi,

if you have inflammation of your joints , then Amgevita can help both the gut and the joints.

Are you under the care of a Rheumatologist? Does you GP feel your joints are swollen?

Hi,

you are correct, Crohns can be related to joint arthritis.

You say you are on biologic therapy - is it Amgevita?
This drug will help Crohns and your joints.

If it is not working you may need a change of biologic

Hi,

not sure re your age, however OA at the base of thumbs is common as we get older - have you had them x rayed?
Physio and possibility of a joint injection if appropriate are treatment options.

Have you seen your GP?

Hi, any infection can leave fatigue tiredness and lethargy as symptoms. Also joint pains. Usually this will be self limiting so as time goes by this should ease. medications can be used to help manage the symptoms. If it is confirmed he does not have RA then that is good news.
