Re: Foot pain

Thanks for your reply. That all makes sense. I'm already wearing thicker soled trainer like shoes and modern slip on's with thicker soles as anything with shoes laces isn't comfortable. I've been offered a steroid injection as a last resort but am not keen on that since it'll mask the problem. I agr...

Foot pain

I've been diagnosed with arthritis which affects the top of my right foot---in the spot where shoes laces lie. The problem makes me limp which, in turn, affects my back so I have pain there too, which is often worse than the foot pain!! Currently waiting to see a hospital podiatrist for new insoles....

Hip pain

Had my right hip successfully replaced back in 2015 and now need my left hip done. I'm in the process of selling my current property and plan to move into a retirement apt when it's ready next January. Because of this I feel unable to put myself on the local waiting list as my GP says it'll be aroun...

Re: Is there anything else I can do for more relief?

Like you I've had atopic eczema all my life and I'm 75--so you have my every sympathy. Since it came on the market a year or so back I 've been buying 'Gladskin' for eczema. First brought to the UK's attention by the TV prog 'Trust me I'm a doctor---ie Michael Moseley'. Comes as a gel or cream. I in...

Thank you Dr's Emma and Sarita for that advice. Confirms what I suspected.

Flat moles which sometimes bleed

I'm nearly 75 and have a few flat moles, of varying size, on my upper chest neckline, which aren't too attractive but don't give me any bother. However, I have one which looks like it's about to peel off on one side. I have to be careful not to catch the edge otherwise it bleeds a bit. Would it be w...

Flat moles on chest

Hello. I have a few flat moles on my chest which seem to change in size, sometimes feeling larger then flatten out again. , One mole is a bit darker than the other. If I catch these, when drying after showering, they have a tendency to bleed round the edge. Infact one looks as if it could peel off. ...

Re: Environmental allergy!

Try putting a little smear of vaseline up each nostril (use a cotton bud and a separate end for each nostril). This will stop things irritating the inside as it sticks to the grease. You may need to clean out your nose and reapply during the day. Vick is also useful, especially if you're a bit 'bung...

Re: Eyelids

I would stop washing your face with that soap. You've been 'sold' a product based on the name.Look at the website www.greenpeople.co.uk. They have a good facial wash, unscented and with no horrible ingredients. Just a thought but your itchy eyes might be a sign of 'dry eye' which is a separate proble...

Re: What else can I do?

Dust with a damp cloth. Look at which cleaning products you're using, including the washing powder. Use less than recommended in the machine (don't forget they're selling a product and want you to use it).Don't use things like 'Comfort' in the rinse, or air freshners.
