Re: Link between Sjogrens and allergies?

Sjogren's - just like many other autoimmune conditions - can lead to angioedema (swelling of the skin) as your immune system can be 'overreactive' It is usually a non allergic reaction

Re: Deodorant Spray linked to coughs (reason?)

you might have some underlying lung sensitivity (bronchial hyper-reactivity) and sprays can irritate the lining of the lungs; it is not an allergic reaction though

Re: getting older and more and more reactions

Asthma + sinusitis + sensitivity to Aspirin can develop at any age; you list many reactions and some of them might indeed be allergic in origin; talk to your GP but if they can't help an allergist would be able to address all issues: asthma; sinusitis; reactions to medication and food. Strong smells...

Re: ULICARIA

if you experience uricaria many times a month you might want to take a non-sedating antihistamine every day (cetirizine/loratadine/fexofenadine). Re: Atopic eczema

'hard' water can irritate your skin; quality/hardness of tap water varies depending on region; there is not much you can do about that but you can use more mositurisers; if you have conjuncitvitis (imflammation of the surface of the eye) water of any 'hardness' can potentially irritate your eyes ( i...

Re: Why am I finding it so hard to get tested?

as my colleague mentioned your should see a dermatologist for dermatitis and an allergist for your nasal symptoms. GP could send off specific IgE (RAST) to grass and tree pollen, house dust mites etc to investigate your nasal symptoms. Skin prick testing does not usually help with urticaria unless y...

Re: Allergy to cheese and penicillin

Cheese allergy can be due to milk or mould allergy (depending on cheese);
Pencillins are synthetic and mould allergy is not a contraindication to their use. You might benefit from seeing an allergist who can investigate as appropriate.
