Re: 14 year old girl sufferer
This question is for Mrs. Cizzi. Do your children have eczema? Until recently I had pretty bad eczema...I have always been worried that if I were to have children that they'd inherit this disease. Were you able to avoid this? Any advice?
Thanks,

Re: Water descaler
I had a similar experience. My parents got a reverse osmosis, softener filtration system and it helped my skin ALOT. Great tip!

Re: Hard time any advice?
I know how you feel. I've always been self-conscious about my eczema. It is especially frustrating not to know WHY a breakout occurs. And when you have one you don't feel like socializing. But over the years, I have noticed that avoiding people made it worse because then I really was ALONE. So it's ...

Re: Lighttherapy
My doctor prescribed it for me as well but I chickened out. Was afraid that it would age my skin further and skin cancer concerns. But I have heard it can help...

Re: those times when you feel completely alone with it
You are NOT alone although it can feel that way. From time to time, I wonder, what my life would have been like if I didn't have this condition. I'd be more self-confident, more active, more strong....I'd have an easier life. Not feeling like I was less than other people. It IS hard...but take some ...

Re: My facial eczema is dragging me down
I'm 34 now but have had eczema for 32 or 33 years. Mostly on my hands and feet. Most of the years, my face was spared but in times of stress I would break out on my face significantly....red, itchy patches. I understand how it feels....like everyone is staring and is repulsed by you. I haven't had a...

Re: hands on fire, any remedies
The cat and possibly other allergies could be the trigger. Get tested for allergies. I've had eczema for 33 years and only when I seriously avoided things I was allergic did my symptoms ease up. Try Evening Primrose Oil for healthy omega 6's to balance out the omega 3's you are getting with the fish...

Re: Dry skin on face!!!! Whats the best cleansing regime?
Try Cliniderm cleanser. I've been using it for a few months now instead of regular soap. My face hasn't had a rash in a while. Also, I think my rashes had been a result of ignoring my food allergies. Now that I've eliminated offending foods and started taking evening primrose oil (liquid) and fish o...

Re: 2 Questions....
If FUCIBET is a steroid cream, it will thin your skin in the long run and make it wrinkly and weak. That's what happened to me after using steroid creams for over 20 years.

Re: 14 year old girl sufferer
Hi Catherine,
You asked if I had ever scratched for no reason? TOTALLY! Unfortunately, I still do. Especially if I'm stressed, nervous or tired. I won't be itchy, but I'll start scratching or rubbing my skin...especially my hands. Again, I have to distract myself by keeping busy.
