Re: Palm of Hands

I don't get flushed easily, although, I don't really push myself while working out. I honestly don't even really 'sweat' that much either...I get hot and overheated but never really sweat. I always forget to mention it to my dr. during physicals though.

Hello everyone

Hi! I'm Jennifer, 33years old and live in Maryland. I have allergies, mod-severe allergic asthma and eczema. I remember my childhood being awful...always in and out of the hospital and my skin was the worst. However, from 7th grade until my early 20's my skin was great! Very dry but no rash in sight...

Eczema and Pregnancy

Hi all! My husband and I would like to start a family soon and I'm so worried about passing on the eczema. I also have bad allergies and mod-severe allergic asthma. I currently take Xolair for the asthma and thanks to atarax my eczema is pretty much controlled. I asked my Dr. and he said my baby wil...

Palm of Hands

What do your palms look like? Mine have always been very wrinkly and look like a 90yr olds. In school I always remember everyone asking to see them. I don't ever remember having eczema on my palms...only on the opposite side. Is this typical for people with eczema?

Re: Atarax (hydroxyzine)

I started taking 3 a day and now I'm just taking one before bed. I think it worked for me because I was able to sleep and it helped with the itchiness. My husband said I scratched a little but nothing like before. So, I really think the not scratching is what has healed my eczema. Not exactly sure w...

Atarax (hydroxyzine)

Just curious how many of you have tried this? After suffering from severe exzema for 2 years my allergist sent me to a dermatologist and he couldn't believe that my allergist was unable to help me. He did a punch biopsy to make sure it wasn't something else and then prescribed me the Atarax. From da...

Re: On the verge of giving up completely.

Hi Brooke- Here's my quick story...I have mod-severe allergic asthma which I've had since childhood. I had a severe eczema outbreak when I was 5 from being around cats and had to be hospitalized for a skin infection from all of the scratching...I remember being miserable and I don't have any fond me...
