Re: narrowing down the cause?

I would say that the fibroids can press on the bladder causing overactivity & leakage. I would suggest you discuss this with your urogynaecologist or GP to see if she can take an anticholinergic. As I don’t know if you are retaining urine I can't advise further.

Re: urine problems

Good afternoon, I dont think having cloudy urine causes any risk if there are no infections present. I presume they have tested your urine . I agree that you need to drink water to dilute the urine which may clear the urine. . What do you regard frequency as ?. We would say anything over 10 times pe...

Re: Stress incontinence

Good afternoon, It sounds like you have mixed incontinence stress & urge. I think reinvestigation is a good idea.Repeat urodynamics will also confirm whether its mixed incontinence . It maybe that the overactive bladder symptoms (urgency) are causing the leak & the medication will hopefully ...

Re: Carnt pee

Good afternoon, It rather difficult to answer this without knowing your history or what test youve had done..It sounds like you have some outflow obstruction either from your prostate, bladder neck or a urethral stricture. It seems youre doing intermittent self catheterisation to empty your bladder....

Re: My bladder

Hi Jackie, It sounds like you had urethral stenosis or narrowing of the urethra which was dilated or widened. It maybe that it has narrowed down again. You may well not be emptying fully. When you do pee is it a good strong flow ?. The only way we can really tell is if you have a flow rate ( where you...

Re: Uretal stents

Good afternoon, Im afraid the ureteric JJ stents do often cause horrid bladder irritation , pain, frequency of passing urine & sometimes blood in the urine. Its the end of the stent thats sitting in your bladder irritating the bladder wall & the constant urge to pee is the reaction to a forg...

Re: Suprapubic Catheter management and bladder retention

Good afternoon. The problem with having a permenant catheter in situ on free drainage is the bladder never fills so it becomes very small. I agree that recycling the bladder by using a flip flow valve is a good idea. However like you say it doesnt stop the leaking as it takes a long time to increase...

You maybe experiencing what is called nocturnal polyuria. This is when you pass more than 2 thirds of your urine at night. Re: Incontinent
