Re: Burning
Yes it could.... thrush need s to be eradicated from all skin folds including under your breasts, your belly button and betwen your buttocks. The cream can be used for this, and also ask your partner to use the cream. I would also take a course of oral antifungals to eradicate rectal carriage of the...

Re: Pelvic Pain
I think that you should ask your GP to refer you for a transvaginal ultrasound scan, and then perhaps referall to a gynaecologist as ovarian cysts or endometriosis are possibilities. Your mind could also be put at rest about your fertility in the process....

Re: Constant pain and period problems.
Hi
If the scan was uncomfortable I presume they were attempting an internal scan? I would at least try an external ultrasound that can be done through your abdomen.
A laparoscopy would outrule endometriosis, which could cause your pain, and infection as a cause is highly unlikely.

Re: PCOS
Hi Vaniqa is often abandoned because it was not used correctly - if you have had any lasering, waxing or even moisturiser on it will not be effective, plus it must be used on such untreated skin for a minimum of THREE months. The side effects of PCOS will often improve with weight loss and more regu...

Thanks - then I think the way forward is to ask for a referall for a hysteroscopy, and if all well there, a more definitive treatment for your periods

Re: Inner Pain
Quite possible! you've obviously thought it through... I would ask your GP for a referall to the pelvic floor or perineal clinic, or if your NHS hospital doesn't have one, to the urogynaecologist. They will probably want to do tests of your anal sphincter and there's plenty that can be done for this...

Re: Abdominal Pain
I would ask for a referall to your local gynaecologist who has an interest in paediatric and adolescent gynaecology - it's not a brush off but this is an important stage in her life and it's best for you both to sit down with the consultant and make a plan...

Re: Very light periods since stopping the pill
I think that perhaps that you are normal - don't worry because your periods often change during your life, and as long as they are regular and not heavy or painful I would wait and see.

Re: Prolonged Periods - heavy lining of the womb
I would definitely ask for you to be referred for an ultrasound of you pelvis AS WELL AS referall to a gynaecologist who should examine your womb and cervix!
