Re: Cracked skin on fingertips

I find that if I cover the cracks (which can be deep) with a waterproof plaster and leave it on for a couple of days - the soreness goes and mine heal up under the plaster. I use Nexcare waterproof plasters - the clear ones that are virtually invisible but I have only ever seen these in Singapore wh...

milia spots

I get milia spots on my face and decollete area. What can I do about avoiding getting them and what causes them. When they get big and come right to the surface I can put a needle in it and a white hard round stone like thing emerges. What is this?

Re: uncomfortable psoriasis

Are you sure it is psoriasis and not eczema or a sweat rash?

You may get some help from a product I trialled from this website which was Cuticura mildly medicated talcum powder which is very soothing.

Re: Psoriasis on nails? Fingers & toes!

I would like to know the same thing. I have tried everything for this problem from Vick, Listerine, tea tree, oreganooil to ACV all for months at a time. The latest I have tried in desperation is private, hot laser treatment.which cost a fortune. I had 12 sessions. Yes the colour is better, all dark...

Re: Bleeding and variable stools

I have to admit that I rarely go near a doctor. It would have to be for something very urgent and important if I did. I am a natural health practitioner myself and avoid drug medication like the plague unless it would be vital to my health. e.g. I have Type 2 diabetes which I have controlled on a lo...

Re: Strange Vaginal Discharge

Thank you Jonathan for the reassurance that at 68 - 15 years after cessation on my menses that it is OK to get the occasional blood stained discharge - it never is more than that. My last ultra sound was probably 6 months ago so I won't be bothering my GP for another referral just yet. Am not sure a...
