Re: Isolated with baby and toddler

You're not alone. It is a scary time. I feel scared myself and I have no baby and toddler, so can only imagine what you're feeling and how scared you must feel.

Take it day-by-day and keep self isolating. Again, you're not alone.

Re: how do you lose weight?

I don't count calories: I eat properly cooked, homemade meals each night. I eat a bowl of healthy cereal for breakfast. I eat a very light lunch. Now I do adore chocolate, so that is that. Anyhow, I keep a food diary on my computer with my weight recorded day-by-day. This helps me modify and control...

Re: Psychology Of Eating

It can be difficult for people with compulsive food disorders to make the right food choices. I am not diminishing your advice, but people with the condition you've mentioned suffer terrible food cravings and it can be difficult to pick up a vegetable casserole instead of a cheeseburger. I am not tr...

Re: Natural Ways to Fight Your Depression

Great advice. A hope everyone with depression takes the advice you've given. I will myself. I definitely am prone to up and down moods: knowing when it is depression will give me reason to follow the advice.

Thank you.

Re: what is type 2 diabetes?

Type 2 diabetes affects my father and my best friend. I am glad to know what exactly it means. Thankfully I have had a blood test - a few weeks just gone - and I hope there is no diabetes. I shall be seeing my doctor in a week or two. I certainly don't want to have diabetes. A useful question: and a...

Re: what is anxiety and what is the solution of it

I have suffered anxiety: and hated it. It wrecked my life. I could not do normal things and people turned away from me: to be blunt. When anxiety is paralysing people lack sympathy and expect you to "just get on with it". But that isn't easy. Anxiety lost me friends and being able to work ...

Re: what is bipolar disorder and what is the solution of it

I do sometimes wonder if I've got this. My moods are like a rollercoaster: I can dip from high to lows at the drop of a hat. I have been diagnosed with something else, but I think I have bi-polar: not what the psychiatrist has said I have. My moods are awful and it isn't great going through motions ...

Would You Consider Shaving Your Head?

I would consider it. In fact, in a few years, I may well do so.

It seems radical, but I will one-day. Possibly when I am 50 years old. Note: I wouldn't shave my head because of cancer, but out of choice. I'd start with a crop, then see what I thought.

Over to you.

Re: Personal Behaviour

I'm sorry you're going through this: behaviour does change during times of stress and stress can make you lash out and just be aggressive generally speaking. I appreciate it is hard for you, but finding an outlet for your frustration - and grief, even - is the only way forward. I think talking to a ...

Re: How to reduce stress levels?

I do think everyone deals with stress in different ways: some go to bed early, so as not to wake up tired and cranky. Others talk to family and friends, while others see the doctor or a counsellor. Medication is an option, but there are many ways to deal with stress without resorting to medication. ...
