Thanks for your question, it takes about 30 minutes to clear each unit of alcohol. so if there is anough time between your daytime drinking and sleep there will be no effect. However alcohol during the day will make you feel sleepy.

Thanks for your question, in terms of sleep it is alcohol itself that is the problem and so there is no differences between drinks. Although of course there is a difference between drinks in terms of their potential to cause hangover.
