Re: Help please. nothing helps
Our daughter used to have horrible excema as well but we've done a few things to help her and now she has been clear about 99% of the time with wonderful skin and no more itchies just an ocaissional flare up that we can now control. It involved changing her diet despite what her allergist said, givi...

Re: 2 kids with eczema
We went through much of what everyone else is going through, the infections, the bloody sheets, no sleep, constant itching, it was HORRIBLE but there is hope. Once we started building up the immune system, removing things harmful to the immune system, eating healthier and staying away from caustic c...

Re: My Eczema disappeared in a warmer climate - but why exactly?
Maybe it was the foods you were eating rather than the sun. In sunny locations there are typically more fruits and veggies with more vitamins and nutrients. Have you thought about taking food based supplements. That is what we give our daughter along with replacing harmful substances from our home a...

Re: Topical steroids versus oral steroids
We had issues with both. Things have been great for about 5 years now. It took some time, trial and error but we finally figured it out and got rid of that nasty skin issue. We built up my daughter's immune system, found out what her triggers were, give her food based supplements, and replaced harmf...

Re: Eczema and diet
We have found some excellent supplements that have helped save my daughter's life. Hers are only about $10 a month and mine are about $20 a month so they are very cost effective but with having to cut out some things from her diet I believe it was helpful to get supplements into her body. We also ea...

Re: Eczema in a 2 year old
Has anyone done any research on building up the immune system with foods and nutrients? Does getting rid of things that harm the immune system help? Do you know what might harm the immune system? Suggestions and ideas would be helpful in putting together some important information from others. Thank...

Re: Moisturisers and Emollients
Sounds like you are on the right path. How are you doing with dairy?
What kind of supplements are you taking?
I'm assuming you've done some allergy testing? Not that it worked for my daughter until we did an elimination diet. That was more effective than getting poked and stuck with needles.
