Re: Natural Remedies for Insomnia (hard to sleep)

Great posts! Having a website with such great advice is wonderful.

I didn't know much about treating insomnia, but shall refer to the advice when I need it myself.

Re: Health Anxiety

That is why I don't live in London. I do not like the city life AT ALL. I also feel claustrophobic in the underground. I think - if you could find out how - perhaps moving to the countryside or market town on the outskirts of where you are, would be best. You're obviously not happy about living in a...

Re: How To Cope With Stress During Covid-19 Pandemic?

I just pray I'm still here when it's over. Because COVID-19 is a virus that is trying to destroy our human race. I follow the rules laid down by the government. I don't want to be dead: no one does. I don't have any advice on dealing with the stress of this global pandemic but will say this: keep to...

Re: How Does Smoking Affect Asthma?

You've got a point, scilover. In fact, I never mention my thoughts on her smoking at all. Actually, I don't think she realizes I know she smokes. Hard to believe but true. I am just scared because - combined with her asthma - she could become very ill. I know you realize this already. But - at the e...

Re: Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera has many health benefits. I see no harm in trying health products with such an ingredient. In fact, I would advise Aloe Vera is used for common ailments. Both on the skin and in supplements.

Re: Is there anyone who has undergone a massage therapy treatment ?

I'm sorry to hear that. I hope your brother recovers soon. I do believe that massage has many benefits for a whole range of health issues. Even mental health issues. It is definitely worth trying. Alternative therapies can often work wonders. I don't see the harm of trying such a treatment. As long ...

Re: Treatments for Back Pain

I have had back pain myself. I do find when I do things more gently, I don't pull my back muscles as much. I would advise gentle exercises to pull back muscles back into position. Simple stretches should be all that is required.

I do hope I've helped anyone with back problems.

Re: Is 21 years old and 350 pounds severely overweight?

I can't better the advice you've been given. Losing weight is possible. It just means less food and more exercise. But only gradually reduce your food intake and start your exercise routine gently. Basically, if you do too much exercise too soon, you'll pull your muscles and won't be able to continu...

Re: What's the difference between depression and boredom?

You've got it down, isabellsophie. I have suffered depression: and I knew it wasn't boredom. Boredom - for me - is easy to cure. I can listen to a CD or watch a comedy DVD. I can read a book. I can write happy poems. I can go out for walk in the fresh air... the list goes on. But when I'm depressed,...
