Re: Incontinence & Equality issues
Hi,
To be honest I don't think bladder issues/Incontinence is an area for that kind of equality; it's gone way too far has that word!
Jack is wrong, there could be someone to help you on this forum, incontinence doesn't discriminate!

Skin Cancer and the Sun
I was surprised at how ignorant people were when it comes to skin cancer and the attitude to having to have a tan all year round, as well as assuming that everyone goes on holiday! I'm a pale and freckled skinned, auburn haired woman. I have lots of sun damage thanks to sunbathing all day long as a ...

Re: Why have I no diagnosis?
Sounds to me to be the wear and tear arthritis, osteoarthritis. I was diagnosed with it at 27 after blood tests didn't show up Rheumatoid arthritis. (However, RHA doesn't show up in bloods for a long time, but other immunological problems do!). So yes, you do have a "named" condition, it's...

Weather and Pain
I have advanced degenerative disc disease, osteoarthritis and spondylosis, the pain is unbearable at times, especially in my arm, but I have an occipital nerve block done every six months for that and it helps. A so called "Pain Specialist" advised me (not the one I see for my ON injection...

Re: Neck arthritis
Ask your GP to be referred to a pain specialist clinic. I have several discs out in my neck and was diagnosed with arthritis in my early thirties. When the pain in my shoulder and arm got unbearable, along with severe migraine, my GP did just that. Within 2 weeks I saw a local specialist, who advise...

Re: Is it ever safe to tan?
I would say with all the information available there isn't a safe way to tan. As someone who sunbathed to the point of blisters in the 70s and 80s and even into the 90s, I would say don't do it! Protect your skin with the highest factor available and don't purposefully sit in the sun. You still get ...

Check Ups
Having moved home and the GP surgery insisting that after over 40 years of being with them, that I had to leave, I signed on with the local surgery. There were a few teething problems, but in the main they have been so on-the-ball that I've now been diagnosed with all sorts of things my last surgery...

Re: Breastfeeding premature babies boosts their IQ
Sorry, but what a load of rubbish! :x Yet another way of making women who choose to use a bottle and powdered milk feel guilty. I used a bottle for my premature daughter (born at 36 weeks), she was operated on at 5 days old and starved until her bowel was working properly. At no time was expressing ...

Can My Daughter Still Conceive
My daughter is 31 and just had her third miscarriage in two years, this time ectopic. They took away her ovary and the other has scar tissue on it. She has been told that they have to wait at least six months before trying again and then try again for six months befor ethey will be considered for on...
