Re: New here 35 years old sugical menopause

Welcome to talkmenopause. You have really been through it by the sounds of it. My mother also was diagnosed with breast cancer aged 50. She had a single mastectomy but was put onto Tomoxifen and this by-passed the menopause for her. To be honest I don't know much about how these things work with thi...

Re: Menopause, Underactive Thyroid Age 41

I think weight control over the age of 40 is tricky anyway! I'm in my 40's, as are most of my friends, and we all feel the same. I'm not quite in at the menopause point yet but I'm dreading it as I've suffered with weight issues all my life and dread it will get harder to stay in shape. I do think d...

Re: New to these boards (and to eczema)

The problem with eczema is that the flare up could be due to absolutely anything and it's a trial and error situation. It's good you have an appointment for an allergy test as this will certainly help - let us know how you get on post 27 Jan - good luck - in the meantime I hope you have a good Chris...

Re: lympenadopthy with contact, nickel

My daughther Alice has a nickel allergy - she had her ears pierced with titanium earrings and her ears healed quickly - but when we put some silver earrings in she had a terrible reaction and infection. We've spent weeks trying to bathe the infection away so we can get the earrings out with the mini...
