Re: Psoriasis spots
Dear June, Thank you for your question. There is no simple way to tell a difference between cancerous moles and psoriasis spots. If your psoriasis spot does not resolve with treatment or looks unusual it is probably a good idea to check it with your GP or dermatologist. Psoriasis patches usually loo...

Dear Felicity, Thank you for your question. Often there is not much difference between a freckle and a mole on a clinical examination by a non specialist. The most important is to check any lesion with a GP or specialist if it looks suspicious. If a skin lesion changes or looks irregular in colour, ...

Re: Topical steroid withdrawal
Dear Heba, Thank you for your question. The strength and duration of prescribed topical steroids depends on the part of the body and age. Re: Confusion with skin condition described as 'papular eczema'
Thank you for your questions. So sorry to hear about your skin problems! It sounds like you have a type of eczema/dermatitis. I do not think it was brought by eating honey. Rarely eczema may be made by foods but unfortunately, as it was discussed at an evidence based meeting about eczema, currently ...

Re: ?eczema or ?psoriasis on tattoo
Hello. So sorry to hear about your problem. It is possible that you are reacting to a pigment in your tattoo. You probably need to have a skin biopsy to tell what kind of reaction you have. Treatment would depend on this and it may include Protopic ointment. I hope this is helpful. With Best Wishes,...
