Re: Pain in testicle

Hi I doubt it is serious but it is bothering you. So, see your GP - I see men with problems like this every day, so there is absolutely no reason to be embarrassed - it's just another part of your body ands no reason to treat that area differently - if it's causing a problem, get your dr to have a l...

Re: concerns...

If bothersome, discuss again with your GP. You might want to think over ...

Re: Sexual Intercourse

Re: Groin area issues

Hi Lee with regard to the abdominal ache and testicular tenderness - you might well have an infection and it sounds like you may need some treatment. I would want to test your urine, consider a chlamydia test if that was needed, probably some antibiotics and possibly an ultrasound of your testicle m...

Re: Avoiding Kidney stones

my understanding is that for your typical calcium oxalate stone former (as opposed to more unusual stones such as urate), the only thing that has been reliably shown to reduce incidence of recurrent calculi is maintaining good fluid intake, particularly increasing this when exercising or in hot weat...

Re: Biopsy

I would disagree with my esteemed colleague at Tackle - having looked at the paper quoted it states 'seeding is a rare complication after prostate biopsy' and quotes incidence at '<1%' not '1%' I personally don't think it is a complication that shopuld worry patients - it appears to happen v rarely,...
