Re: Sensitive skin

I have itchy, sensitive skin on my underarms, tops of my arms, on my feet and my hands. When I don't use the right skincare creams it itches like mad. I have changed my laundry detergent. I have avoided perfumed soaps. I have done all those things: yet it is still red and itchy. Thankfully it is not...

Re: Skin care routine for my 16 year old daughter

Boots or Superdrug are the best shops to look for acne treatment skincare products. BUT your daughter does not want to strip her skin: her face will still need to be washed, but avoid skin-stripping products because they'll make her skin sore and painful. In fact, stripping the skin can worsen acne....

Re: Something on my hands/dont know what is/photos attached

I have something similar, but not so badly. I find using certain cleaning products cause it to flare up on my hands and give me whetlow. It is itchy sometimes, too. I have seen the nurse and use a specialized cream. The cream does help. I also help myself by wearing white cotton gloves beneath rubbe...

Re: Loose weight with minimum effort

To be honest, I struggle with counting calories. It is too much hard work and takes up needless time. I realize it works for many but not me. I just try to be sensible with my diet and avoid fattening foods. I also do a lot of walking. But back to what I eat: I stick to vegetables and healthy home-c...

Re: Missed one desogestrel pill - what are the odds of pregnancy?

You must know by now if you got pregnant. But the pill is mostly effective when taken correctly. But I know you missed your time to take it. Again, though, you know if you're pregnant by now. It is a shame you got no advice on here. And I am late with my post. Obviously there is nothing I can advise...

Re: Random pelvic cramp...possible PID?

I hope your doctor was able to diagnose you, Greens95. It did seem a strange coincidence to have had unprotected sex and then be in such pain. I am sure you've been treated for whatever you were diagnosed with and are no longer in pain. I do think using contraception will prevent further pain. Altho...

Re: essential oils and acne

Tea tree oil IS meant to be a great skin healer. The Body Shop sell tea tree oil skin products: that might be a good place to start. The right skin products will soothe acne prone skin. Because stripping skin worsens acne and makes the skin sore and uncomfortable: even acne prone skin needs gentle p...

Re: home teeth whitening?

I had my teeth whitened by the dentist: and I'd do it again. I wouldn't use home kits: see your dentist instead. She/he will monitor your progress and you'll have less risk of damage to your teeth. Plus, using a whitening toothpaste twice a day, every single day will also keep teeth white. Also usin...

Re: Does diabetes affects the eyes ?

Diabetes is deadly serious. If someone thinks they've got it, it is very important they see their doctor. Health problems that arise from diabetes are very serious. I'd advise anyone see their doctor sooner rather than later.

Re: Natural Remedies for Insomnia (hard to sleep)

Sleeping in a warm bedroom is vital, so you're right, Prycejosh1987. Also, energy within the body has to be used in the daytime. Because if someone is full of adrenalin, they're not going to be able to sleep. If they've got an exciting day ahead, they need to be calm in their mind the night before. ...
