Psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis

From TH member - I have psoriasis (recently diagnosed) and am very concerned about the fact I am more likely to get psoriatic arthritis now. I have read that 30% of people will go on to get PA which sounds like a very high percentage. Can you please offer some advice - for example is there anything ...

red, dry patches of skin

I have had Blepharitis ever since I had my cataracts out 5 years ago and manage it with wipes and liquid tears. Lately, however, my left eyelid has become red and itchy plus I have flaky patches on my scalp and in my outer ears (for which the doctor gave me cortisone cream that doesn't always work)....

I have a bit of a negative reaction when i eat wheat or dairy - but it is impossible to make an appointment to see the doctor when i work full time! Are there any at home allergy tests that you would recommend to let me know if its worth seeking advice from a doctor?

Can bee allergies worse?

My partner keeps bees - however when he has been stung before his arms swell up and are hot and tight to the touch. To me it looks like an allergy. He's not has any sort of anaphylactic reactions - but is it possible that it can worsen?

2 year old has very bad eczema

Hello My 2 year old daughter has always suffered badly with eczema since she was born (diagnosed by my GP). I use a moisturiser on her daily and have tried various brands, none of which seem to help. When her eczema flares up badly (which it does often) she is given various steroid creams to help. R...

My newborn has very dry skin

Hi - my little girl is 4 days old and was born with really dry skin. My midwife has told me to use olive oil on her skin but she cries when I do. I think it might be hurting her. Can you give me some advice and perhaps an alternative cream please?

Testicle not 'hanging' correctly

On behalf of Barney: I have recently noticed that my left testicle doesn't seem to be 'hanging' as it normally does. When I look in a mirror, I have noticed that it is quite tight and high. This has caused my scrotum to develop a 'flap' under the testes. There is no pain or other symptoms but should...
