Endo & Mirena

I was always told that the coil was a no-go for people with endometriosis. I've been diagnosed about 12 years, and managed as best I can with panikillers & the pill. My GP/nurse are now pushing long term contraceptives, and keep saying that Mirena coil is a good option. Is that really the case for Endo sufferers?
