Re: Dry skin
Cold weather can contribute to very dry skin. Look for a fragrance-free dermatological grade moisturiser that contains urea (at least 10%), which is highly moisturising. You should moisturise at least twice a day (hands and body). You should also use a soap substitute or fragrance-free oil when washing your hands, as normal soaps and shower gel can worsen dryness. Gently pat your skin dry after washing and apply the moisturiser immediately afterwards as this helps to lock in moisture.
At night time, you could use a paraffin based moisturiser on your hands and sleep with cotton gloves on. This will help to moisturise your hands overnight. Also, remember to wear gloves when washing up or cleaning.
I hope that this helps
