Skin routine

I'm 56 but still have very oily skin. Should I still be using a moisturiser and if which one would suit me please? Thankyou

Re: Skin routine

Many thanks for taking the time to post a question.

It is still a good idea to use a moisturiser despite suffering with oily skin - mainly because oily skin may still require hydration or water to allow it to function properly as a barrier. I would suggest the following:
1. Look for a moisturiser with the label "non-comedogenic" which literally means "will not block pores". Whilst this is no guarantee it is better than a skin product lacking this label.
2. Look for skincare products containing the following ingredients: salicylic acid, glycolic acid, niacinamide, tea tree oil, benzoyl peroxide or retinol. These all have the ability to combat oily or blemish-prone skin.

I hope that helps and best wishes,
