There are some very good Dermatological grade products that you can buy over the counter at a pharmacy that are specifically suited to eczema-prone skin. These usually contain colloidal oatmeal or liquid paraffin or urea. The latter ingredient is highly moisturising and is found in some face creams designed for people with sensitive and eczema prone skin. You should moisturise at least twice a day (face and body) if you suffer from eczema. You should also use a soap substitute or fragrance-free oil when washing, as normal soaps and shower gel can worsen dryness. Gently pat your skin dry after washing and apply the moisturiser immediately as this helps to lock in moisture.
