are rosacea and blepharitis linked?
Twice I have been diagnosed with Blepharitis and both times the optician has told me I have rosacea, is there a link between the two or is it just coincidence? Last time he gave me 3 months of an antibiotic but didnt this time, just 2 lots of eye drops. If there is a link if I can get rid of the rosacea will the blepharitis also not return?

Re: are rosacea and blepharitis linked?
Thank you for your question. I am afraid ocular rosacea is common in patients with skin rosacea and blepharitis can be a part of ocular rosacea. I do not know much about treatment of blepharitis I am afraid. Your optician, GP or ophthalmologist would be best specialists to advise you on the treatment of blepharitis.
I hope this is helpful.
