PLE
I suffer from PLE and my GP has suggested that allergy tablets would help. I started showing symptoms in my late 30's. I have been abroad in my teens and twenties and did not suffer in the sun. I did use sun beds for a few weeks before hand. Would using sun tan beds help with PLE?

Re: PLE
Thank you Ms Jackson for your question.
You should not use commercial sunbeds because risk of skin cancers is disproportionally high.
However special UVB hospital treatments are available on NHS and privately. Anti malarial medications also can be very helpful and can be prescribed by your dermatologist.
I hope this is helpful.
