Bleeding on the pill

I started taking the pill for the first time. I am now on day 14, but since day 9, I have been getting abdominal pains (like typical period pains) and I have been bleeding everyday. Not just some light spotting, but full on bleeding like a period. Shall I just wait it out and hope it stops or stop taking the pill immediately?

Re: Bleeding on the pill

Hi Emmapagano,

Thank you for your post. Please find some information below about bleeding in the first few months of being on the pill, which should hopefully put your mind at rest. If you are still worried, we would urge you to contact your GP to see if you need to change to a more suitable pill.
