Hurts to have sex
So, I hadn't slept with anyone for a few months, but i've started seeing someone new and I recently decided to have sex with him. When it came to penetration though it really started to hurt, which is unusual. Any ideas?

Thank you for your recent post. If you are concerned about the pain please make an appointment to see your doctor/nurse if for nothing more than to put your mind at ease. Please have a look at our women's health forum too, there are various sections within the forum which you may also find helpful.
