Re: water/kidney infection
Hello and thank you for your post.
I am sorry to hear of your troubling symptoms and can appreciate how upsetting this must be for you.
I would like to recommend that you make an appointment as soon as possible with your GP to discuss your symptoms. It sounds like you may need further treatment. I am concerned regarding your dizziness, fever and severity & type of pain.
Some women do find that they develop water infections within a day or so of having sex. One reason for this is that the action of sex can push bacteria up into the bladder resulting in infection.
The website http://www.patient.co.uk gives the following tips which may reduce the chance of a water infection developing after sex:
•After having sex, go to the toilet to empty your bladder.
•If your vagina is dry, use a lubricating jelly during sex.
•Do not use spermicides and/or a diaphragm for contraception. See your doctor or practice nurse for advice on other forms of contraception.
Please do make that appointment with your GP today. If I can help you further please do get in touch.
Best wishes,
Justine
