implant and mini pill
Hi, I am just wondering if the cerelle mini pill affects the implant at all?

Thank you for your question. Please can I ask, are you currently prescribed both of these items? When you say, if the pill affects the implant, what do you mean? What are your concerns?
Looking at the clinical guidance for the implant, I can see that sometimes the GP may prescribe a 3 month trial of contraceptive pills to help with problematic bleeding after insertion of the implant. This is entirely at the prescriber's discretion.
If you require any further information about these two products, please do get back in touch. Otherwise if you have any specific concerns, please speak to your prescriber or local sexual health clinic.
