Abdominal adhesions

I have pain over the top of my pubic bone which my GP thinks are abdominal adhesions following a radical cystectomy in 2010.and says there is nothing to be done about these. A further op might well cause more adhesions. The pain is definitely affected by passing motions. Any ideas?

Re: Abdominal adhesions

I have a similar situation following major abdominal surgery for spinal fusion. My GP referred me to bowel consultant however I missed the appointment due to being in hospital. I am now back on the gynaecologist waiting list before they might refer me again. Hope that your pain improves. I also changed my diet to low carbohydrate; high protein and plenty of fruit and vegetables. Gluten and potatoes are intolerant to my particular problem. Don't know if you might be able to see a dietitian? Wishing you all the best for the future.
