Waking at night

I've recently had to start getting out of bed 3 or 4 times a night to wee. I'm a 67 year old man and is this something I should be worried about?

I feel bad as I'm also waking my partner every night and am concerned about falling and the other night stubbed my toe badly.

Is there anything I can do to prevent having to wee so much in the night? Paul

Re: Waking at night

Dear Paul,

I could not say if you should be worried, but I would say go to your GP so you can get a referral to a Urologist. It would be impossible to say what is causing it whether it is a benign condition or a malignant one, but better your know. You need investigation, I would not suggest you try yourself to manage, you need the question answered.
