Type 2 diabetes
Why is it when my blood sugars are controlled I want to pee frequently and I have slight incontinence.

Dear Gedjarvis,
The problem is trying to relate the incontinence and frequency to the diabetes. For sure when your blood sugars are unstable it causes frequency and possibly leaking, but that does not mean that when your blood sugars are stable you should not get those symptoms. There are other things that can cause you to be having these symptoms and they can be bladder or prostate related. You need a flow rate, post void residual and possibly urodynamics and/or a flexible cystoscopy, and/or ultrasound to determine the nature and extent of your symptoms. Please ask your GP to refer you to a Urologist for investigation as these things cannot be done remotely.
