Molluscum Contagiosum
My 6 year old son has molluscum contagious on the lower part of his left leg. Are there any treatments for it? He's had it for about 12 months.

Re: Molluscum Contagiosum
Thank you for your question. Molluscum is a self resolving condition but cryotherapy (freezing) can help. Your dermatologist administer it.
I hope this is helpful.

Re: Molluscum Contagiosum
I agree with Dr Alexandroff that most molluscum will settle by itself within about 18 months.
My go to topical treatment is Molludab which is available over the counter.
Best wishes
