Chicken skin
My child got diagnosed at 8mths old with chicken skin as it looks like the skin of a chicken my Q is I've tried everything and nothing seems to work any ideas and will they outgrow it.

Hi there, I wonder if by "chicken skin" the doctor meant Keratosis pilaris. This is a common condition resulting in bumps on the back of the arms, thighs and face. I would start with a moisturiser, because KP can often go along with dry skin. KP is difficult to treat. Once your baby gets older, you could try some urea containing moisturisers and in adults I advise gentle exfolication or creams containing alpha hydroxy acids. Often KP is worse in childhood and adolescence and then gets better over time.
