How can you tell?

How can you tell if you are allergic to a food substance such as almonds or coconut without actually risking consuming it please? Shirley

Re: How can you tell?

If you suspect that you might be allergic; based on reactions to other nuts or previous reactions to almond and coconut, then you should ask your GP to do some allergy tests (specific IgE) or to refer you to an allergy centre who can take a full history and investigate.
