Flat moles on chest

Hello. I have a few flat moles on my chest which seem to change in size, sometimes feeling larger then flatten out again. , One mole is a bit darker than the other. If I catch these, when drying after showering, they have a tendency to bleed round the edge. Infact one looks as if it could peel off. Should I be worried?? I've had atopic eczema since birth so have sensitive skin. I'm not a sun worshipper but have spent a lot of time outdoors.
I'm also thinking they may be age related, I'm 74.

Dear Di Graham

It is of course very difficult to make a diagnosis without images and based on description alone. However the lesions you describe sound like seborrhoeic keratosis (harmless dry/crusty growths) or haemangiomas (red lesions composed of blood vessels). Both lesions are entirely harmless.

Other potential diagnoses include pre-cancerous changes.

I would however urge that you get these checked initially by your GP who will refer on to a dermatologist if they look concerning.
