Hi, I have be diagnosed with multiple uterine fibroids; which causes heavy bleeding, very painful periods (abdominal pain/liver pain) what would have caused these fibroids?
Are there any home remedies I can try to improve my symptoms?
Is there any particular diet I should follow?
Can these be a sign of too much estrogen, which can cause cancer?

We don’t understand the exact cause but it may be familial/genetic. There are no home remedies or diets, but they do respond to progesterone-blocking drugs, so too much estrogen is not usually a factor. Other treatments included surgery embolization.
